No. 7 Railsplitter Women’s Golf Set for LeeAnn Noble Memorial

DAHLONEGA, Ga.– The No. 7 Lincoln Memorial Women's golf team will compete in their third tournament of the year at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial, hosted by the University of North Georgia at Achasta Golf Course in Dahlonega, Ga., Oct. 12-13.

After winning back-to-back tournaments for the fourth time since 2008, with a win at the City With Spirit Fall Classic, the Lady Splitters took a long break. Junior Joy Aspetaki was the lone individual medalist through the start of the year after a record-breaking performance at the UIndy Fall Invitational in September.

The Lady Splitters are familiar with the LeeAnn Noble Memorial, finishing 13th out of 15 as a team in 2025. Only one Railsplitter finished in the top-25. Rain and wind have gone through Dahlonega, catching strands of Hurricane Isaias over the weekend, however the forecast shows sunshine for the tournament itself.

The field is strong, with ranked opponents including No. 1 Dallas Baptist University, No. 3 Anderson University, No. 6 University of North Georgia, No. 8 Lander University, No. 10 Lee University, No. 12 Wingate University, T-20 Saint Leo University, No. 22 Florida Southern College, and No. 24 Erskine College. Lenoir-Rhyne University is receiving votes. Rounding out the field are the University of Montevallo, Catawba College, University of Arkansas-Fort Smith, Young Harris College, Columbus State University and USC-Beaufort.

The Lady Railsplitters will Tee-off tomorrow morning, Oct. 12.
