Harrogate, TN - Lincoln Memorial women's lacrosse plays their second game at the LMU Lacrosse Complex this week as they host the Lake Erie College Storm Saturday morning at 11 am.
The weekend meeting will only be the second time that these two programs meet. The first match resulted in a 17-2 victory against the Storm in March of 2022 in Harrogate.
Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 16-7 win over North Greenville on February 11th.
Jaiden Jaynes and
Ruby Copeland led the team in points, with Jaynes scoring five goals and Copeland adding three goals and two assists.
In the South Atlantic Conference,
Ryan Smith is sixth in caused turnovers per game (2.50), Jaynes is seventh in total goals (5),
Emily Mirabile is sixth in total saves (8), and
Josie Tinnerello is season in shots per game (6.50).
Saturday will be Lake Erie's first match of the 2026 season, with the Storm going 2-15 overall last season.
Returning leaders for the Trailblazers include Brooke McNeal (#12), who led the team in goals last year with 49, Reese Friesen (#22), who led the team in assists with 19, and Avery Artino (#23), who recorded 51 saves last season.
Lincoln Memorial is entering Saturday with a 1-1 overall record.
