​​​​​​Harrogate, TN -- The Lincoln Memorial men's basketball team travels to Mars Hill, North Carolina, to face the Mars Hill Lions in a South Atlantic Conference match up on Wednesday. The Railsplitters arrive with significant momentum following a landmark 87-78 victory over the 5th-ranked Anderson Trojans. This win improved Lincoln Memorial's season record to 15-9 and solidified their position in the conference standings with an 11-7 mark. The Railsplitters are looking to repeat their success from early December when they defeated the Lions 94-80 in Harrogate.

The offensive attack for Lincoln Memorial is led by Nate Mims, who has started 20 of 24 games and leads the team in scoring with 11.5 points per game. Mims has been a dual threat for the Railsplitters, shooting 46.4 percent from the field and maintaining a 39.3 percent success rate from beyond the arc. He is joined in the frontcourt by Walter Campbell, who averages 11.1 points and a team-high 6.7 rebounds per contest. Campbell has been particularly efficient near the basket, shooting 56.9 percent from the floor while providing a strong defensive presence with 15 blocked shots on the season.

Adding depth to the Railsplitter rotation is Jayden Spearman, who contributes 10 points per game and shoots 44.8 percent from the field. EJ Smith and Armon Jarrard have also been vital contributors, with Smith averaging 7.8 points and Jarrard adding 8 points per game while shooting 30.8 percent from three-point range. The Railsplitters will also look for continued production from Drew Lewis and Ashton Pennamon, who average 7.8 and 7.1 points respectively. Lincoln Memorial will lean on its superior rebounding and depth to overcome the Lions, as the Railsplitters currently average 32.9 rebounds per game as a unit.
