Women's Basketball On The Road To Coker Saturday

Mars Hill, NC - Lincoln Memorial women's basketball is once again on the road on Saturday, February 21st as they face the #12 Coker Cobras at 2 pm. 

The weekend meeting will be the 25th all-time meeting between the two teams, with the Lady Railsplitters winning the series 16-8. They have already faced each other once this season, in January of 2026, where LMU took the victory over the Cobras 72-58. The last time that the Lady Railsplitters defeated Coker in Hartsville was in January of 2024 with a 55-53 win. 

Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 77-61 win over Mars Hill on February 18th. Kamil Collier recorded a new career high with team-high 32 points and Lexi Patty and Collier were the team-leaders in rebounds with 12 each. 

Currently, Collier is the team-leader in points with an average of 18.1 points per game, with Alexa Smiddy and Patty following with 12.8 and 12.3 points per game, respectively. 

In the South Atlantic Conference, Collier is leading in double-doubles (17), third in field goal percentage (50.3%), second in field goals made (170), third in total points (434), third in points per game (18.1), leading in total rebounds (269), leading in rebounds per game (11.2), leading in defensive rebounds per game (7.3), and leading in offensive rebounds per game (3.9). Smiddy is fourth in the conference in assist/turnover ratio (1.75), leading in total assists (93), leading in assists per game (3.9), fourth in three point percentage (32.3%), fifth in three pointers made (50), and fifth in three pointers made per game (2.08). Patty is fourth in the SAC in defensive rebounds per game (5.2), seventh in rebounds per game (6.8), eighth in total steals (48), and fourth in steals per game (2.09).

Nationally, Collier is fifth in double-doubles, eighth in rebounds per game, tenth in total rebounds, and 13th in defensive rebounds per game. 

As a team, Lincoln Memorial is second in the SAC in assist/turnover ratio (1.09), first in field goal percentage defense (36.9%), leading in scoring defense (55.9), second in scoring margin (15.9), third in scoring offense (71.8), leading in three point percentage defense (26.1%), leading in three pointers made per game (9), and first in winning percentage (87.5%).

Nationally, the team is 15th in scoring margin, fourth in three point attempts per game, seventh in three pointers made per game, and 15th in winning percentage.

Coker is coming off of a 67-89 loss against #22 Lenoir-Rhyne on February 18th. 

Leaders for the Cobras include Shawnteanna Tillman (#0), who averages 19.5 points per game and Janay Legagneur (#23), who averages 7 rebouds per game. 

Lincoln Memorial is entering Saturday with a 21-3 overall record, including a 16-3 mark in conference play. LMU is in second place in the SAC standings. The Lady Railsplitters was most recently voted #19 in the WBCA Coaches' Poll.

Coker is going into the weekend with an 20-5 overall record and conference record of 15-4. The Cobras are in third place in the SAC standings and was most recently voted #12 in the WBCA Coaches' Poll.
