Harrogate, TN - Lincoln Memorial women's lacrosse will host the Gannon University Golden Knights on Saturday, February 28th at 3 pm at LMU Lacrosse Complex.
The Saturday contest will be the first time that the two programs will face each other in LMU women's lacrosse history.
Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 15-10 victory over Thomas More on February 21st.
Ryan Smith led in points with five, and
Emily Mirabile recorded nine saves.
In the South Atlantic Conference,
Ruby Copeland is second in total assists (10), fourth in assists per game (2), and fourth in points (17).
Jaiden Jaynes is second in draw controls per game (5.2), and fourth in goals (13).
Mary Kostus is seventh in ground balls per game (3.6), and Mirabile is fourth in saves (25).
Nationally, Copeland is fourth in assists and Jaynes 14th in total goals.
Gannon is coming off of a 7-13 loss against Ashland on February 25th.
Leaders for the Golden Knights include Isabella Veltre (#23), who leads in goals with ten, Charlie Hunter (#6), who leads in draw controls with 17, and Riley Finnegan (#00), who has 32 saves on the season with a 49.2 save percentage.
LMU is going into Saturday with a 3-2 overall record, and Gannon is entering Saturday with a 1-2 overall record.
