CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY – Lincoln Memorial men's volleyball earned a straight-sets win at Thomas More on Saturday evening, taking the match 3-0 by scores of 25-19, 25-13, 25-20. The Railsplitters put together an efficient offensive night, finishing with 47 kills and a .462 hitting percentage while holding the Saints to .195.
LMU's attack was balanced throughout the match, led by Zadyn LaBreche with 12 kills. William Boney provided a big spark with nine kills and no errors, hitting .818 on the night. Cal Shrimplin added nine kills and contributed in other areas with two service aces and seven digs, while Jordan Dyer posted eight kills, two aces, and seven digs.
Setter Roman Mahlerwein directed the offense with 43 assists, helping the Railsplitters stay in rhythm across all three sets. LMU also got steady defensive work from Dyer and Shrimplin (seven digs each), and the Railsplitters finished with five service aces as a team to help keep Thomas More out of system.
