CAMBRIDGE, MA - Lincoln Memorial men's volleyball earned a 3-0 victory at Merrimack on Saturday afternoon in Cambridge, taking the match by set scores of 25-16, 25-21, 25-21. The Railsplitters controlled the match offensively, finishing with a .270 hitting percentage while holding the Warriors to .091, and owned the net with an 11-4 advantage in total blocks.
Axel van Baars led the offense with nine kills, while Johan Negron added eight kills, an ace, and a team-high seven digs. Relja Milosavljevic delivered an all-around effort with five kills on .714 hitting, three aces, and a match-best six blocks. Inbar Shachar paced the attack with 27 assists, adding three kills and five digs. At the net, Negron finished with four blocks, and Oisin Walsh added three as LMU totaled 11 team blocks.
Lincoln Memorial is back in action on Friday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m., hosting Belmont Abbey College in Mary Mars Gymnasium.
