Women's Lacrosse On The Road To Coker Saturday

Hartsville, SC - Lincoln Memorial women's lacrosse will be on the road Saturday as they face Coker in Hartsville, SC at 11 am. 

The weekend meeting will be the 10th overall contest between the two teams, with the Railsplitters winning 6-3. The most recent match up between the two programs was last season in March of 2025, where LMU came out on top 20-3 at home. The last time that Lincoln Memorial was victorious over Coker in Hartsville was in March of 2022, where the score was 18-9 LMU. 

Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 11-7 win against Catawba on March 7th. Josie Tinnerelllo led in points with team-high six goals, and Jovie Favati earned the goalkeeper win with nine saves. 

Currently, Tinnerello is the team-leader in points with 26 with team-high 24 goals and two assists, and Ruby Copeland is leading in assists with 15. Mary Kostus is leading in both ground balls and caused turnovers with 24 and 15,  respectively, and Jaiden Jaynes leads in draw controls with 26. Emily Mirabile has 33 saves on the season with a 37.9 save percentage and Jovie Favati has 38 saves with a 46.3 save percentage.

In the South Atlantic Conference, Copeland is third in assists (15), fourth in assists per game (1.88), and ninth in points (25). Ryan Smith is eighth in the conference in assists (10), and Tinnerello is fifth in goals (24), seventh in points (26), and fourth in shots per game (7.13).  Favati is fifth in saves (38) and sixth in saves per game (5.43).

Nationally, Copeland is 10th in assists and Tinnerello is 14th in goals.

As a team, Lincoln Memorial is fourth in the SAC in assists per game (5.86).

Coker is coming off of a 18-7 win over American international on March 7th. 

Leaders for the Coker Cobras is Kate Halcro (#8) with 18 goals and Grace Mirands (#38) with 10 assists. 

LMU is going into Saturday  with a  5-3 overall record and a conference record of 1-0, and Coker is entering the match with a 2-4 overall record and a 0-2 SAC record. LMU is tied for third place in the SAC standings with Wingate, and Coker is tied for sixth place with Emory & Henry and Tusculum.
