Harrogate, TN – The 17th-ranked Lincoln Memorial Men's Tennis team heads back to Harrogate, welcoming Purdue Northwest on Tuesday before facing Emory & Henry in a conference matchup on Wednesday.
The Railsplitters dropped their last match on Saturday, falling on the road to Wingate four sets to one, giving LMU a record of 8-2 entering this midweek double header and a 3-1 conference mark.
Lincoln Memorial will look to stay undefeated at home, as the Splitters have won all seven matches they've played in their home facilities. This early season success has been led both in singles play and on the doubles court. The pairing of Radu Florea and Ethan Hirons exited this weekend with an 8-1 combined record on the season, including going a perfect 3-0 against South Atlantic Conference opponents.
On the singles court, Victor Bourguignon and Kai Miyatake have led the way for the Railsplitters, with the two going 8-1 and 7-1 respectively through LMUs first 10 matches this year.
Purdue Northwest will face the Railsplitters at 7-4 following a win over Davenport University, while Emory & Henry has yet to win a match this season, coming in at 0-11 and 0-4 in conference.
