GREENEVILLE, TN – Lincoln Memorial men's volleyball is back on the road Tuesday for an IVA matchup at Tusculum University. First serve is set for 6 p.m. on March 3 in Greeneville.
LMU enters the match at 8-6 after a strong offensive performance in its most recent outing, and the Railsplitters have produced steady numbers through 14 matches this season. Lincoln Memorial is hitting .271 as a team with 12.0 kills per set and 10.9 assists per set, while adding 1.1 aces per set, 9.6 digs per set, and 1.8 blocks per set. Offensively, Johan Negron leads the team with 122 kills, while Axel van Baars has added 109 kills and a team-best 14 service aces. The setting has been shared by Roman Mahlerwein (256 assists) and Inbar Shachar (200 assists), and defensively Zachary Zian paces the back row with 92 digs. At the net, Oisin Walsh anchors the block with 30 total blocks, while Relja Milosavljevic has added 31.
Tusculum comes in at 7-4 and has been solid at the net this season, averaging 2.90 blocks per set while hitting .241 as a team. Reef Mathis (117 kills) and Aiden Roper (71 kills) have led the Pioneer attack, with Riley Wisniakowski running the offense and Morgan Makovec providing production in the middle. Tusculum is unbeaten at home this year (4-0), setting up a strong early-week test for the Railsplitters.
Tuesday also continues a series that has leaned heavily toward LMU in recent seasons. Lincoln Memorial is 13-0 all-time against Tusculum, including a 3-0 win in the most recent meeting on March 18, 2025, in Greeneville.
