Harrogate, TN – Following a two-win week, the 16th-ranked Lincoln Memorial Men's Tennis team returns to action, hitting the road on Tuesday to take on Mars Hill before welcoming 23rd-ranked Lee on Wednesday to Harrogate.  

The Railsplitters enter the week at 10-3 and fifth in the South Atlantic Conference at 4-2 after defeating Purdue University Northwest and Emory & Henry last week, before falling to ninth-ranked Catawba at home on Saturday. 

LMU turned in a strong performance against Catawba, as in doubles play the Splitters put up strong competition vs the number six and 24 ranked doubles pairs in the nation, while Alexandru Rares Giurea took a victory in the first singles position. Kai Miyatake also had a strong performance, holding the 65th-ranked individual in DII to a draw in three sets.  

Victor Bourguignon turned in another strong week over the Railsplitters three matches, going 2-1 in both singles and doubles play, as he became the first Railsplitter to hit the 10-win mark this season.  

In group play, the dynamic duo of Ethan Hirons and Radu Florea turned in an early week win over Purdue Northwest to start at 9-2 as a pair, the best mark on the Railsplitters thus far. 

Mars Hill will welcome the Railsplitters at 7-7 and 1-5 in conference play after falling to Anderson over the weekend, while Lee enters ranked 23rd in the nation at 6-1 coming off a sweep of Spring Hill.  

The Splitters match at Mars Hill will begin at 11:00 a.m. in Mars Hill, North Carolina before taking on Lee at home at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. A link to the live stat pages for both matches can be found below.
