Mars Hill, N.C. - The Lincoln Memorial Women's Tennis team earned a bounce-back win on Tuesday, traveling to Mars Hill to defeat the Lions in conference action with a 7-0 sweep. The win marked the second 7-0 sweep of the season for the Railsplitters, who moved to 9-4 and 4-3 in conference.  

LMU took two doubles matches over the Lions, securing the lone doubles point. In the one doubles set to go the distance, Adriana Pellizzari and Natalia Reimer swept their opponents 6-0 in the second doubles match, as the pair moved to 8-2 this year.  

In singles play, the Splitters took all six matches from Mars Hill, with the top two individuals of Natalia Reimer and Mia Rodriguez taking a win in the second set. 

Rosalie Carrier-Dulac picked up her fifth win of the season in the third pairing, dropping just one point in the first set to win 6-1 before sweeping the second set 6-0. Alexandra Ortiz would do much of the same in the fourth draw, winning 6-1 in set one and 6-2 in set 2 for her sixth win. 

Alexandra Ortiz would claim win six of the year for her, taking her two-set sweep by a combined score of 12-3, as a 6-1 set one win gave Ortiz the momentum for a 6-2 win in the final set, moving Ortiz to 6-3 this year. 

Laura Nastrini would finish the win for Lincoln Memorial, taking her two sets with a straight sweep, going 6-0 in both matches of the fifth draw to secure the final on-court victory for the Splitters, as Nastrini moves to 3-0 this season.  

LMU will take tomorrow off before facing Lee on the road Thursday at 2:00 p.m.
