Harrogate, TN – The 15th-ranked Lincoln Memorial Men's Tennis team hits the road this weekend for two matches, facing Newberry in a conference game on Saturday and going to Augusta on Sunday. 

The Railsplitters will jump into the weekend at 11-4 this season and 5-2 in conference play, splitting their midweek matches against Mars Hill and No. 23 Lee this week. With their Tuesday win at Mars Hill, the Splitters secured a 2-2 record in games away from Harrogate.  

Victor Bourguignon has been leading the team in singles play, going 10-3 in his first 13 matches to rank nationally at 77th in the latest ITA Individuals Rankings. Kai Miyatake and Alexandru Rares Giurea stand behind Bourguignon, with the two holding nine individual wins each year.  

In doubles competition, Radu Florea and Ethan Hirons enter the weekend with double-digit wins following a resounding victory over Mars Hill on Tuesday that bumped the pair to 10 wins in 2026.  

Newberry welcomes the Railsplitters with a 2-12 record on the season, holding a 2-4 mark in conference play as the Wolves have dropped each of their last six games. Augusta enters the weekend at 6-8 with a match against Columbus State coming before they host the Splitters.  

LMU and Newberry will square off at 1:30 p.m., while Augusta hosts the Splitters starting at Noon on Sunday. Links to both games live stats pages can be found below.
