Wise, VA - Lincoln Memorial women's lacrosse will travel to Wise, VA on Wednesday to face UVA Wise at 3 pm. 

The midweek contest will be the 11th overall meeting between the two teams, with Lincoln Memorial falling in the series 1-9. In the most recent face off between the two teams, which was last season in April of 2025, the Railsplitters fell to the Cavaliers 7-11. The only victory over Wise came in March of 2022, where LMU took the victory 14-13. 

Currently, Tinnerello is the team-leader in points with 37 with team-high 33 goals and four assists, and Ruby Copeland is leading in assists with 15. Mary Kostus is leading in both ground balls and caused turnovers with 28 and 17,  respectively, and Jaiden Jaynes leads in draw controls with 42. Emily Mirabile has 44 saves on the season with a 41.9 save percentage and Jovie Favati has 63 saves with a 45.3 save percentage.

In the South Atlantic Conference, Copeland is sixth in assists (15), and seventh in assists per game (1.67). Tinnerello is fourth in free-position goals per game (0.55), fourth in goals (33), fourth in goals per game (3), and fourth in shots per game (6.45). Favati is fourth in saves (63) and fourth in saves per game (6.30).

As a team, Lincoln Memorial is fifth in the SAC in assists  per game (6), fourth in free position percentage (47.8%), and fourth in save percentage (43.9%), and fourth in shot percentage (45.5%).
 
Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 9-24 loss against Lenoir-Rhyne on March 21st, and UVA Wise is coming off of a 9-7 win over Newberry on March 28th.

Leaders for the Cavaliers include Caitlyn Schultz (#4), who leads in points with 51, Logen Davis (#19), who leads in assists with 15, and Issie Brown (#15), who leads in draw controls with 40. 

LMU is going into Wednesday with a 6-5 overall record and a conference record of 2-2, and the Railsplitters are tied for fifth place in the conference standings with Tusculum. 

UVA Wise is entering the match with a 11-1 overall record and a 5-0 SAC record. The Cavaliers are tied for first place in the SAC standings with Wingate.
