Wingate, NC - Lincoln Memorial women's lacrosse will go on the road on Saturday to Wingate, NC to face the #16 Wingate Bulldogs at 4 pm. 

Saturday's meeting will be the 11th overall contest between Lincoln Memorial and Wingate, with Lincoln Memorial falling in the series 0-11. In the most recent game between the two programs, which was last season in April of 2025 at home,  LMU fell to the Bulldogs 6-16. 

Currently, Josie Tinnerello is the team-leader in points with 51 with team-high 44 goals and seven assists, and Ruby Copeland is leading in assists with 20. Mary Kostus is leading in both ground balls and caused turnovers with 34 and 21, respectively, and Jaiden Jaynes leads in draw controls with 62. Emily Mirabile has 84 saves on the season with a 42.2 save percentage and Jovie Favati has 69 saves with a 42.6 save percentage.

In the South Atlantic Conference, Copeland is ninth  in assists (20), and Tinnerello is fifth in free-position goals per game (0.47), fourth in goals (44), fifth in goals per game (2.93), sixth in points (51), and fourth in shots per game (6.93). Jaynes is second in the conference in draw controls per game (5.17), and Mirabile is sixth in saves (84) and fourth in saves per game (6.46).

As a team, Lincoln Memorial is fifth in the SAC in assists  per game (5.87), and fifth in draw controls per game (11.87).
 
Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 12-14 loss against Newberry on April 11th, and Wingate is coming off of a 24-1 win against Coker on April 15th.

Leaders for the Bulldogs include Stacy Glover (#26), who leads in goals with 58, Lauryn Knutson (#20), who leads in assists with 35, and Sophie Pavlick (#18), who leads in draw controls with 118.

LMU is going into Saturday with a 6-9 overall record and a conference record of 2-6, and the Railsplitters are tied for eighth place in the conference standings with Catawba. 

Wingate is entering the match with a 12-3 overall record and a 8-0 SAC record. The Bulldogs are in first place in the SAC standings and were most recently ranked #16 in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division II Coaches Poll. 

The match is set to start at 4 pm in Wingate, NC.
