Harrogate, TN – Lincoln Memorial men's volleyball returns to Mary Mars Gymnasium on Saturday, April 4 at 3 p.m. to host Lees-McRae College for Hawaiian Night.
The match is a rematch of LMU's recent road meeting with the Bobcats, where the Railsplitters earned a 3–0 sweep in Banner Elk behind a strong team performance that included a .288 hitting percentage, a 10–7 edge in blocks, and steady defense in the back row.
LMU enters the weekend 13–6 and has put together a strong stretch of play, riding a current win streak into the home matchup. Through 19 matches, the Railsplitters are hitting .270 as a team with 12.2 kills per set and 11.2 assists per set, while averaging 9.7 digs per set and 2.0 blocks per set. Offensively, LMU has multiple consistent options, led by Johan Negron (137 kills) and Axel van Baars (156 kills, 19 aces), while Inbar Shachar has paced the attack with 400 assists. At the net, the Railsplitters have been solid defensively as well, with Oisin Walsh totaling 53 blocks and helping LMU produce 133 total team blocks on the season.
Lees-McRae comes to Harrogate at 11–13 (6–6) and has been active from the service line this year, averaging 1.5 aces per set. In the all-time series, Lincoln Memorial has controlled the matchup, holding a 9–1 advantage and currently riding a nine-match winning streak against the Bobcats, including the most recent 3–0 win on March 25.
