Women's Lacrosse Faces Tusculum At Home Wednesday

Harrogate, TN - Lincoln Memorial women's lacrosse will play their first home game of the week on Wednesday as they host the Tusculum Pioneers at 7 pm. 

Wednesday's contest will be the 10th all-time meeting between the two teams, with Lincoln Memorial coming out on top 5-4. In the most recent off between the two teams, which was last season in April of 2025 at Tusculum, the Railsplitters took the victory 15-8. The last time that the Pioneers and LMU played each other in Harrogate was in March 2024, and Lincoln Memorial also took that win 16-8. 

Currently, Josie Tinnerello is the team-leader in points with 39 with team-high 35 goals and four assists, and Ruby Copeland is leading in assists with 17. Mary Kostus is leading in both ground balls and caused turnovers with 29 and 18,  respectively, and Jaiden Jaynes leads in draw controls with 50. Emily Mirabile has 55 saves on the season with a 39.2 save percentage and Jovie Favati has 68 saves with a 42.5 save percentage.

In the South Atlantic Conference, Copeland is eighth in assists (17), Tinnerello is sixth in free-position goals per game (0.46), sixth in goals (35), sixth in goals per game (2.69), and fourth in shots per game (6.38). Jaynes is third in the conference in draw controls per game (5), and Favati is sixth in saves (68) and sixth in saves per game (5).

As a team, Lincoln Memorial is fifth in the SAC in assists  per game (5.38).
 
Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 1-18 loss against Anderson, and Tusculum is coming off of a 9-8 overtime win against Catawba, with both teams playing on April 4th.

Leaders for the Pioneers include Carmella Nilsson (#20), who leads in goals with 37, Elisha Stack (#16), who leads in assists with 44, and Jessie Carolin-Vandenberg (#4), who leads in ground balls with 36.

LMU is going into Wednesday with a 6-7 overall record and a conference record of 2-4, and the Railsplitters are in seventh place in the conference standings.

Tusculum is entering the match with a 7-6 overall record and a 3-3 SAC record. The Trojans are in fifth place in the SAC standings.
