Men's and Women's Tennis Place in Final ITA Ranking

Harrogate, TN – In the final ranking of the 2025-26 season, both Railsplitters men's and women's tennis teams find themselves in the final 50 from the ITA, with the men ending the season ranked at 34th and the women finishing at 47th.

The ranking for the men marks the third-consecutive season where the Splitters end the season ranked by the ITA after going 15-10 this year, with LMU finished last season at 30th and ending the 2024 season ranked 44th by the ITA.

In the regional pool, the Splitters marked their second-straight season in the Southeast Region's top-10, being named 10th in the regional rankings.

On the women's side, this marks the first time in five seasons that the Railsplitters end the year in the ITA's top 50, as the women earned the six-seed in the South Atlantic Conference tournament having gone 11-12 in competition.

The Splitters final honor came in individual rankings, as senior Alexandru Rares Giurea concludes his first-team all-conference season being ranked 45th nationally in singles play.

The ITA Top 25 Coaches Poll is voted on by the ITA National Ranking Committee. The National Ranking Committee is made up of the eight ITA Region Chairs and a National Chair, with each chair casting an individual, secret ballot.
