Harrogate, TN -- Lincoln Memorial University has officially named Isaac Spainhour as its new Director of Strength and Conditioning. Spainhour brings a wealth of collegiate athletic experience to the position, having most recently served as the Assistant Director of Strength & Conditioning at Emory & Henry. Prior to Emory & Henry, he served as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Florida State University Men's Basketball program. In that role, he was instrumental in programming and executing weight room sessions, directing student-athletes through lifts, and managing advanced sports science technology through the operation of the Kinexon tracking system.

Prior to Florida State University, Spainhour gained significant experience at Kansas State University, where he worked as a Strength and Conditioning Assistant. During his time in Manhattan, he participated in designing comprehensive strength programs, managed daily athletic lifts, and coordinated pre- and post-game nutritional meals for the athletes. His background also includes a stint as a Video Coordinator Intern for Florida State University, where he broke down practice and game film, authored scouting and personnel reports, and streamlined the delivery of critical film and statistics to the coaching staff.

Spainhour pairs his hands-on coaching background with a strong academic foundation in the field of sports performance. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Florida State University in May 2024 before completing a Master of Science in Exercise Science from Liberty University. This combination of advanced scientific knowledge and practical elite-level training experience positions Spainhour to elevate the athletic development and physical preparation of all student-athletes at Lincoln Memorial University.
