West Palm Beach, FL - Lincoln Memorial women's soccer will begin the 2026 season traveling to West Palm Beach, FL to face the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish on August 27th at 7:00 pm.

The week day match will be the first time in program history that the two teams will be facing each other. 

There should be some good competition, as both teams were ranked high in their respective preseason polls. The Railsplitters were ranked third in the South Atlantic Conference Preseason Poll, while PBA was ranked second in the Sunshine State Conference Preseason Poll. 

Daniel Benedek Miklosi was named to the Preseason All-Conference Team, while Enrique Martin and Vicente Charlin were identified as Players to Watch. 

Benedek Miklosi will continue to hold down the net his senior season, as he is the only returning Railsplitter to start all 19 matches last season, recording 1730 minutes. The Hungary native registered 68 saves in the 2026 season, posting a 77% save percentage, while recording seven shutouts. Last season, Miklosi was a 2x SAC Defensive Player of the Week and named Third Team All-Conference. 

Enrique Martin will power the midfield in the 2026 season, as he started 15 in his 16 matches played. Martin contributed on both ends of the field, scoring three goals and adding one assist for seven points. Martin was a 1x SAC Offensive Player of the Week, and named to the SAC All-Tournament Team and Third Team All Conference last season.

Vicente Charlin will also hold down the midfield defensively, starting 12 out of his 17 matches played last season. In his freshman campaign, Charlin contributed to seven shutouts.

Players to watch for the Sailfish include #1 Flavio Giannini , #7 Veit Klement, and #8 Niklas Mahler.

Thursday will be the first regular season match for both teams.
