CLEVELAND, Tenn.– The Lincoln Memorial Women's Golf team will find themselves on familiar ground Monday as they travel to the City with Spirit Fall Classic from Sept. 14-15, at Cleveland Country Club hosted by Lee University.
This isn't the first time the Railsplitters have found themselves at Cleveland Country Club early, competing in the NCAA DII South Regional Preview at the Country Club last season. The Railsplitters ended up as the 11th place team out of 16. Joy Aspetaki was the only Railsplitter with a Top-20 finish, finding herself tied for 13 at the end of the tournament.
"We're excited to tee it up again this week and build on the momentum we created in our first tournament. Last week gave us a lot of positives to take away, but also showed us areas where we can continue to improve. The team has put in a lot of work, and I'm looking forward to seeing us compete again, stay committed to our process, and continue developing throughout the season. We're excited for the opportunity to compete again!" Exclaimed Head Coach Brad Robinson when asked about the Fall Classic.
The Lady Railsplitters are searching for another strong performance after having a record-setting tournament with the UIndy Fall Invitational ending in a team win and individual medalist honors for Joy Aspetaki.
