Harrogate, TN -- The Lincoln Memorial women's volleyball team is packing its bags to travel to Cleveland, Tennessee, on Tuesday to take on the Lee Flames. The Railsplitters head into the midweek matchup following a split 1-1 weekend on the road. Lincoln Memorial secured an impressive victory against previously undefeated Newberry on Friday before dropping a tough decision in successive sets to Anderson on Saturday.
Looking to bounce back, the Railsplitters will lean on a balanced offensive attack led by standout performers. Kaytlin Johnson paces the offense with a stellar 3.21 points per set average, fueled by 81 total kills and 2.89 kills per set. Georgia Dobson has also been a major contributor with 45 kills and a 2.21 points per set rate while maintaining a team-best .488 attack percentage. Additional offensive production comes from Laney Inman, Finley Sparks, and Jazmine Starks who add 57.0, 59.5, and 59 points respectively.
Defensively, Lincoln Memorial relies on a tenacious back row and net presence to stymie opponents. At the net, Starks alters opponent attacks with a team-leading 25 total blocks, averaging 0.89 blocks per set, supported defensively by teammates like Milyn Minor and Aaliyah Rodgers as the Railsplitters look to secure a statement road win in Cleveland.
