Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial women's volleyball team is ready to defend home court this weekend with a pair of matches, hosting the UVA-Wise Cavaliers on Friday at 6 PM for the designated Volleyball Alumni Game. This opening contest provides a wonderful opportunity to honor the former student-athletes who helped build the program's foundation while cheering on the current roster as they look to secure a crucial early-season victory in front of the faithful home crowd.

The action continues on Saturday at 2 PM when the Railsplitters welcome the Emory and Henry Wasps for the official Orange Out game, where all fans are strongly encouraged to wear orange to fill the arena and create an electric atmosphere. Entering these weekend matchups, the squad is eager to showcase their high-powered attack, which is anchored by several standout offensive performers across the rotation. Leading the charge is Kaytlin Johnson, who paces the team with 90 total kills and an impressive 2.9 kills per set. She is complemented strongly by Georgia Dobson, who boasts a phenomenal .479 hitting percentage along with 50 kills and 11 service aces, while Lauren Pickett has skillfully orchestrated the offense by dishing out 181 assists at a clip of 5.84 assists per set.

On the defensive end, the Railsplitters rely heavily on disciplined back-row play and strong net protection to turn away opponents. Lauren Jacob patrols the floor exceptionally well, leading the team with 129 digs and 4.16 digs per set, while Jazmine Starks anchors the front line with a dominant total of 26 blocks. Additional defensive stability comes from Finley Sparks, who has contributed 53 digs and nine blocks to help solidify the lineup.
