Newberry, SC – Lincoln Memorial men's soccer will continue conference play on Saturday as they travel to Newberry, SC on Saturday, September 19^th to face the Newberry Wolves at 4:30 pm.

The Saturday contest will be the 19^th all-time meeting between the two programs, with Lincoln Memorial winning the series 13-2-3. In the last match between the Railsplitters and the Wolves, which was at home last season in October of 2025, LMU came out on top 1-0. The last time Lincoln Memorial and Newberry competed in Newberry was in October of 2024, and the Railsplitters came out victorious 1-0.

Lincoln Memorial is coming off a 5-0 shutout against Lenoir-Rhyne on September 16^th. Filipe Ribeiro (assisted by Lasse Kidd Amstrup) scored in the 10^th minute, Elay Chartouni (assisted by Enrique Martin) in the 36^th minute, David McDougall (assisted by Emil Tronstad Juliebo) in the 62^nd minute, Chartouni (assisted by Elijah Breidel) in the 73^rd minute, and Otis Hearn (assisted by Damian Saccento) in the 78^th minute.

Newberry is coming off a 5-3 win against Bob Jones University on September 15^th.

Currently, Hays Adams, Kidde Amstrup, and Chartouni are all leading the team in goals with two each. Thomas Sloerdal is the team leader in assists with two. Goalkeeper Daniel Benedek Miklosi has 26 saves on the season so far with a 83% save percentage.
