Morrow, GA – Lincoln Memorial women's soccer will play their first goal match out of two on Thursday as they travel to Morrow, GA to face the Clayton State Lakers Thursday afternoon at 3:00 pm.

The weekday match will only be the sixth overall meeting between the two programs, with the record being 2-2-1. The last contest between LMU and NSU was in Harrogate last season on October 29, 2025, where the Railsplitters defeated the Lakers 2-1. In the most recent away match, which was in September of 2021, the game ended in a 2-2 draw after two periods of overtime.

Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 2-3 loss against (RV) Columbus State on August 29th, where TSWA Player of the Week Donna van der Zalm scored both goals for the Railsplitters in the 24^th minute and 52^nd minute, with Jade Brown assisting the second goal.

Van der Zalm is the team leader in points with four as the has team-leading two goals, and Camden Prosser is leading in assists with two. Goalkeeper Emma Cooke has tallied 12 saves so far this season with a 70% save percentage.

Players to watch for Clayton State include Jael Bruhlmeier (#19) who has three goals, and Aniyah Vargas (#7) who has a goal and an assist. The Lakers are coming off of a 4-0 win against Emmanuel on August 30^th.

Lincoln Memorial is entering Thursday with a 0-1-1 overall record, and CSU is going into the match with a 1-0 overall record.
