Harrogate, TN – Lincoln Memorial women's soccer returns home as they face Wingate on Saturday, September 26^th at 1:00 pm at the LMU Lacrosse Complex for International Day.

The weekend meeting will be the 27^th overall contest between the two teams, dating all the way back to 1995, with the Railsplitters falling behind in the series 7-19. The last time that Lincoln Memorial and Wingate faced each other was last season at Wingate, where LMU fell to the Bulldogs 2-4. The most recent match up at home was in October of 2024, when the Railsplitters lost to Wingate 1-3.

Lincoln Memorial is coming off a 5-4 victory against Tusculum on September 23^rd, where Edie Wilds and Paige Branam each secured a brace, and Elizabeth Butler added a goal.

Wingate is coming off a 6-0 win against Mars Hill on September 23^rd.

Currently, Branam is the team leader in goals (4), and Camden Prosser is leading the team in assists (4). Goalkeeper Emma Cooke is leading the goalkeepers in saves with 27 for a 87% save percentage.

In the South Atlantic Conference, Prosser is third in assists per game (0.57) and fourth in total assists (4). Cooke is fifth in save percentage (77.1%), third in saves per game (5.40), and fourth in total saves (27). Branam is leading the conference in game winning goals (2), second in goals per game (0.57), and fourth in shots on goal per game (1.42). Donna van der Zalm is third in goals per game (0.50).

Nationally, Prosser is 34th in assists per game, and 31st in total assists, and Branam is 28th in game-winning goals. 

As a team, Lincoln Memorial is third in the SAC in points per game (5.57), third in save percentage (77.4%), third in saves per game (5.86), second in scoring offense (2), and leading in shot accuracy (59.3%).

Players to watch for the Bulldogs include Audur Helga Halldorsdottir (#11), with two goals and three assists, Rhylie Druskis (#23), with two goals, and goalkeeper Amelia Forsling (#0), with 13 saves on the season for a 92% save percentage.

Lincoln Memorial is entering the weekend with a 3-2-2 overall record and a conference record of 2-1, and is currently tied for second in the SAC standings with Lenoir-Rhyne. Wingate is coming into the match with an overall record of 3-3-2 and 1-1 conference record, and is currently in eighth place in the SAC standings.
