Milledgeville, GA – Lincoln Memorial women's soccer will play their second road match this week as they travel to Milledgeville, GA on September 5
th to face the Georgia College Bobcats at 1:00 pm.
There is a short history between the two teams as Saturday will only be the sixth all-time match, with LMU winning the series 2-1-2. The last contest between the Railsplitters and the Bobcats was last season in Chattanooga, TN, where the match ended in a 0-0 draw. The most recent LMU win in the series was in October of 2024, where they defeated Georgia College 2-1.

Riley Miller scored off of a free kick from

GCSU's most recent match was on opening day on August 27
th against North Greenville with a 5-0 win, as their next two matches were postponed and canceled.
Donna van der Zalm and Miller are leading the team in points with four each as they both have two goals, and
Camden Prosser is the team-leader in assists with two. Goalkeeper
Emma Cooke has made 17 saves on the season so far with a 73% save percentage.
Players to watch for the Bobcats include Mackenzly Cheely (#23), who leads the team with five points, and Brittany Bakke (#22) and Mia Palumbo (#34) with three points each.
LMU is entering the weekend with a 0-1-2 overall record, and Georgia College and coming into the match with a 1-0 record.
