2023 (Junior): Eight appearances on the season...Accumulated eight strikeouts, with threer against Trevecca Nazarene (Feb. 18).

2022 (Sophomore): 10 appearances on the mound with four starts...13 IP with 19 strikeouts and a BAVG of .339...Recorded four strikeouts against both Mars Hill (March 30) and Young Harris (April 6).

2021 (Freshman): Pitched in 10 games, all of them out of the bullpen...Struck out 10 batters over 9.1 innings of work...Notched three performances in which he struck out multiple batters...Opponents hit .179 against him and Murphy posted a 1.93 ERA...Ended the season with four straight outings without allowing an earned run...Picked up his first collegiate win in his debut as he threw a scoreless inning against UVA Wise (Feb. 17)...Didn't allow a run and whiffed two batters versus Anderson (Feb. 21)...Threw a runless frame and struck out two batters versus Mars Hill (Feb. 28).

Prior to LMU: A local product of Harrogate, playing his prep career at Cumberland Gap High School...Ranked as the No. 27 right-handed pitcher and No. 99 overall player in the state of Tennessee by Perfect Game...Named to the 2018 Tennessee Baseball Report Super Freshman and Sophomore Team...Tabbed first-team all-region as a sophomore in 2018...Posted a 1.18 ERA with five wins in 59 and 1/3 innings on the mound his sophomore season...Competed for Tri-Star Titans in travel ball.
