Garrett Lovorn

Garrett Lovorn is in his second season as the pitching coach for the Lincoln Memorial University baseball team. Prior to arriving in Harrogate, he served as the pitching coach for NAIA Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky.

Lovorn began his coaching career at Division I Longwood University, where he spent two seasons as a volunteer assistant coach. During his time with the Lancers, Lovorn worked primarily with the pitchers and used his extensive knowledge to aid their development.

A former pitcher at both the Division I and II levels, Lovorn began his career at Clemson, where he spent four seasons. In his 19 appearances over two years, he posted a 3.46 ERA and was part of the 2016 ACC Championship team that hosted a regional. He spent his final season of eligibility at Peach Belt Conference member Lander, where he made 15 appearances with five starts in 2017.

Lovorn graduated from Clemson in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in parks, recreation, and tourism management and added a master's degree in exercise science from Lander in 2017. He resides in Harrogate.
