Tony Jasick enters his second season as head coach of the Lincoln Memorial University men's basketball program in 2026-27 after guiding the Railsplitters to a successful first campaign that reaffirmed the program's position among the elite teams in NCAA Division II basketball.

In his inaugural season at LMU, Jasick led the Railsplitters to a 19-12 overall record, an NCAA Southeast Regional appearance, and a national ranking as high as No. 14 in the NABC Coaches Poll. The season was highlighted by a signature victory over undefeated and fifth-ranked Anderson. Under his leadership, LMU also produced one All-South Atlantic Conference selection and one College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honoree.

A long-anticipated return to Harrogate became reality when Jasick returned to Lincoln Memorial University as head coach for the 2025-26 season. One of the most accomplished coaches in NCAA mid-major basketball, Jasick brought more than 25 years of collegiate coaching experience, including 10 seasons as a Division I head coach and 153 NCAA Division I career victories.

Jasick's connection to LMU dates back to 2001 when he began his coaching career as an assistant coach with the Railsplitters. He earned his Master of Education degree from Lincoln Memorial University in 2002 before embarking on a coaching career marked by historic turnarounds, championships, and national recognition.

Prior to returning to Harrogate, Jasick served as Interim Head Coach at Stephen F. Austin State University in 2025 following four seasons as Associate Head Coach. During his tenure with the Lumberjacks, the program captured the 2022 WAC regular-season championship and earned a postseason berth in the College Basketball Invitational.

Before Stephen F. Austin, Jasick spent seven seasons as head coach at Jacksonville University, where he led the Dolphins to their best non-conference record in 24 years, the program's first winning season in five years, and a 13-game home winning streak—the longest in 42 years. His accomplishments earned him NABC District 3 Coach of the Year and ASUN Coach of the Year honors in 2016.

Jasick first gained national prominence at Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW), where he engineered one of the nation's most impressive program turnarounds. In 2014, he guided the Mastodons to a school-record 25 victories and the program's first-ever postseason win, earning both the Hugh Durham National Coach of the Year Award and Summit League Coach of the Year honors.

His coaching journey has also included successful stops at Middle Tennessee State, Newberry College, UNC Pembroke, and North Alabama, building a reputation as a transformational leader capable of elevating programs at every level of collegiate basketball.

Jasick and his wife, Melissa, who also earned her master's degree from LMU in 2002, returned to Harrogate with their daughters, Rohen and Reece. As he enters his second season leading the Railsplitters, Jasick continues to build upon a foundation of excellence while positioning LMU men's basketball for sustained success on the regional and national stage.
