Andrew Briones

Andrew Briones begins his first season as a graduate assistant for the Lincoln Memorial University men's lacrosse program in 2021-22. Originally from Friendswood, Texas, he graduated from Newberry College in 2021 with a digital marketing degree with business administration and sports management minors.

Beginning his career in the Wolves' inaugural season, Briones was a four-year player, one year captain, and current program record holder for number of career games played (43) for Newberry. Following his final campagin, he was nominated to represent Newberry as a finalist for the SAC Men’s Lacrosse Scholar Athlete of the Year Award 2021. Briones also played under current LMU head coach Joe Wilson at Newberry.
