During Hill’s time in Harrogate, he has helped the Railsplitters to a 252-141 record; two consecutive SAC Tournament Championships (2022 & 2023); back-to-back SAC Championships in 2019 & 2021; two NCAA Southeast Region Tournament titles, and two trips to the NCAA Southeast Super Region Championships. Hill has been integral in helping orchestrate the program’s rise to national prominence with a No. 14 finish in the NCAA II National Poll in 2019, a No. 10 national finish following the 2021 season, and a #23 national finish in 2022. Hill has helped develop numerous All-SAC, D2CCA and NFCA All-Southeast Region performers, as well as three D2CCA All-Americans.

Before coming to LMU, Hill spent the 2017 campaign assisting Head Coach Richardson at Purdue University Northwest. In their one and only season leading the Pride, Hill helped guide PNW to a 29-23-1 record and a 15-9 mark in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play. Hill’s work at PNW helped four Pride players to All-CCAC selections while the 29 wins represented a single-season program record.

Prior to his work as assistant softball coach, Hill was a four-year letter winner for the baseball program at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Ill. Hill’s career was highlighted by a senior season that saw the Tigers go 39-17, win the CCAC regular-season championship and advance to the NAIA Opening Round Tournament. Hill graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. He also earned his Master of Science in criminal justice in 2021.
