Jacqueline Kestner

Jacqueline joins the LMU staff in 2016-17 after spending a season coaching at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. 

Kestner, a native of Blountville, Tenn. attended Sullivan Central High School, where she lettered four times in basketball, three times in volleyball and twice in track & field. While at SCHS she earned All-Big 8 Conference honors in basketball four times, received Virginia Tip-off All-Tournament team and second team All-Bristol Herald Courier accolades as a senior and led Sullivan Central to a 2008-09 district title. Kestner was also an All-Big 8 Conference performer on the volleyball team and a member of the National Honor Society..  

From 2012-15 she played at Concord (WV), where she was a three year starter. At Concord she scored 853 points, pulled down 649 rebounds, blocked 26 shots and netted 136 steals for her career. In her senior season she led the Mountain Lions in scoring at 12.7 points per game and rebounding at 8.8 rebounds per game on her way to earning Second-Team All- Mountain East conference (MEC) honors. Her 8.8 rebounds also ranked second in the MEC. Kestner finished her collegiate career ranked eighth on Concord’s All-Time Rebounding List with 632 and ninth on the steals list with 136.  She also ranked among the Top-50 players in NCAA Division II in Career Active Double-Doubles, including a MEC-best 10 in 2014-15.

Kestner graduated from Concord in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.

She is the daughter of Les and Carol Kestner.
