Maggie Sharp

Maggie Sharp joins the Lincoln Memorial staff for her first season as a graduate assistant coach this fall. Sharp comes to LMU after five years with the St. Thomas Aquinas College lacrosse program. She served two of these years as an assistant coach, primarily as an offensive coach. As an assistant for the Spartans, Sharp worked extensively with player development, recruiting, fundraising, workouts and practice schedules for the women’s lacrosse team. She helped bring the Spartans to the ECC playoffs and ended the 2015 season with five players named to the Women’s Lacrosse All-Conference Teams as well as the Defensive Player of the Year.

Prior to coaching with the Spartans, Sharp played three seasons at St. Thomas Aquinas. She netted a total of 140 goals and added 77 assists for a career total of 217 points. Sharp was named team MVP for the 2014 season and helped lead the Spartans to their first ever playoff appearance in 2014. In addition, as a senior caption she was named to the ECC Women’s Lacrosse All-Conference Team as well as the IWLCA All-North Region Second Team.

Sharp has also worked extensively for the past three seasons with the House of Sports Club lacrosse program. Through her work with the travel team House of Sports has boasted some of the country’s top players and college recruits.

A native of Suffern, NY, Maggie will be pursuing a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education at LMU.
