Career: Finished his four-year Railsplitter career tops in program history in kills (1,249), aces (155), digs (585), attack attempts (2,779), kills per set (3.52), points (1,561.5), points per set (4.40), sets played (355) and matches played (96) ... Closed out his career second in school history in total blocks (281) and solo blocks (34) ... Led the nation in both aces per set (0.64) and points per set (5.30) as a junior in 2019 ... Became the first player in LMU men's volleyball history to reach the 1,000 kill mark on Jan. 10, 2020, with a 23-kill performance at Lindenwood University, doing so in only 81 career matches played ... The first Railsplitter and first Independent Volleyball Association (IVA) player to be named a NVA/AVCA All-American ... Four-time Off the Block All-Independent Team member, three-time Off the Block Division I-II Player of the Year finalist and two-time Off the Block Independent Teams Player of the Year ... Recorded the first triple-double in program history as a true freshman at Emmanuel College on March 3, 2017, tallying 14 kills, 20 assists and 10 digs; it was one of only two triple-double performances in Division I-II men's volleyball that season.
2019 – Junior
Opposite Cory, the defending Off the Block Independent Teams Player of the Year and a Google Cloud Academic All-America® At-Large First Team member, led LMU in 2019 with 360 kills, 57 service aces and 141 digs. A native of Metairie, Louisiana, Cory established the single-season program record for kills, kills per set (4.04), attack attempts (769), service aces, service aces per set (0.64), points (471.5) and points per set (5.3). The 6-foot-4 senior was tops nationally among opposites in both aces and aces per set and led the nation in points per set, while ranking eighth in kills and attacks per set (8.64), 10th in blocks per set (1.11) and 23rd in hitting percentage (.341). In three seasons as a Railsplitter, Cory has tallied 871 kills (3.30/set), 123 aces (0.47/set) and 409 digs (4.09/set).
2018 — Sophomore
- Played in all 27 matches while starting in 26
- Competed in all 98 sets, tied for a four-way team tie
- Led the Railsplitters in kills with 344 and kills per set with 3.51
- Ranked second on the team with 89 blocks, averaging nearly one a set
- Averaged 1.59 digs per set, putting him second overall with 156
- Held a team-second best .822 percentage on serves, totaling 39 service aces and 62 service errors in 349 attempts
2017 — Freshman
- Saw the court for all 106 sets while starting in all 27 matches
- Smacked down a team-high 281 kills, averaging 2.65 per set
- Ranked second with 161 digs, getting 1.52 per set
- Assisted a team-second best 85 points, bringing in nearly one per set
