Started seven of the nine matches he played in ... Saw action in 25 sets over those nine matches ... His nine service aces ranked fourth on the team and his 0.36 service aces per set led the squad ... Posted 79 points and 54 kills offensively while hitting at a .308 clip ... Named Off the Block Independent Teams Player of the Week on March 18 after tallying seven kills, a season-best four aces and eight digs in a 3-0 home rout of Quincy (March 16) ... Served 12 aces on the season, assisted on 16 kills, made 71 digs (1.22 per set) and had 10 blocks ... Reached double-figure kills in a pair of matches, laying down a career-high 18 in a five-set affair at King (Feb. 5) and totaling 14 in a five-set win at Belmont Abbey (March 23) ... Prior to LMU: Attended Celebration High School in Celebration, Florida, just outside of Orlando after relocating stateside in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria ... Named 2018 Florida Player of the Year as a senior after racking up 332 kills, 182 digs, 85 service aces and 51 blocks ... Led Celebration HS to a district and regional championship and a spot in the state finals ... His 71 kills in three state tournament matches led the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) finals ... Selected as Florida MaxPreps/AVCA Player of the Week for the week of April 30-May 6, 2018 ... Tabbed 2018 Orlando Sentinel All-Area Player of the Year following his final varsity season ...
