Nikita Rivera

Nikita Rivera returns for her second year as a graduate assistant coach this fall.
 
The Milton, Wash. native comes to LMU after a successful career at New Mexico Highlands University. At NMHU, Rivera was a two-year starter for the Cowgirls and helped lead her team to the conference playoffs in 2013. She had a career 0.82 goals against average with 79 saves and five shutouts. Rivera also earned All-Conference academic honors.
 
Prior to NMHU, Rivera played two seasons at Warner Pacific University, where she accumulated a career 1.87 goals against average and 189 saves for the Knights while earning All-Conference accolades both seasons.
 
Rivera was a multi-sport standout at Fife High School, earning All-Conference first team accolades in tennis.
 
She is a certified soccer referee and has two older brothers.
 
Rivera will pursue a Masters of Education at Lincoln Memorial University.
