Zach Forgani was hired as the Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach at Lincoln Memorial University in February 2017.
Forgani boasts coaching experience at the high school, club and college level.
Forgani recently served as the head coach at Bearden High School, who he led to the state tournament and a fifth-place finish. The Chattanooga, Tennessee native also spent two seasons as the assistant coach at CAK, who he helped lead to the state tournament and a fourth-place finish in 2012.
Forgani has coached club volleyball for the last nine years. His first two seasons were spent coaching the U-12s at the Smokey Mountain Junior Volleyball Club. For the last seven years, he has coached 14s, 16s or 18s at K2 Volleyball Club.
During his time at the University of Tennessee, where Forgani graduated with a degree in English with a concentration in Technical Communication, he played for the Volunteers’ club team and served as the team’s setter.
Forgani also coached the women’s club team at UT, leading his squad to a national championship in 2011 and a runner-up finish in 2013.
