HARROGATE, Tenn. -- After traveling for the first 21 games of the season, the Lady Railsplitters (6-15) finally return to the comforts of home and make their 2016 Dorothy Neely Field debut with a doubleheader against the King Tornado (6-10) on Wednesday. Here's everything you need to know:

Quick Hits: -Sophomore
Brianna Taylor (Ooltewah, Tenn.) chucked back-to-back complete games to lead the Lady Railsplitters in a doubleheader sweep of the Bellarmine Knights on Sunday in Louisville, Ky. Taylor gave up just two hits with three strikeouts in a 2-0 win in game one before striking out seven over seven frames in a 6-3 game-two victory. The sweep was Lincoln Memorial's first since taking both ends of a doubleheader at Trevecca Nazarene on February 17, while the Lady Railsplitters snapped a five-game losing skid with the win in game one.

BriAnna Schrimpf (Chandler, Ariz.) notched her third multi-hit game of the 2016 campaign in game two against Bellarmine, going 2-for-4 with a home run and a season-high three RBI. Schrimpf has successfully recorded a hit in six of her last nine games, as the Chandler, Ariz. native is batting .288 with eight RBI and two homers.
-The Lady Railsplitters went 9-6 at Dorothy Neely Field last season, which included South Atlantic Conference sweeps over Queens, Brevard and Mars Hill as well as a split with Anderson.
-Despite picking up two wins at Bellarmine, the Lady Railsplitters continued to struggle with runners in scoring position. In game one, Lincoln Memorial left nine runners stranded on base and went 1-for-16 collectively at the plate in RBI chances. The Lady Railsplitters were much more effective in game two, leaving just three runners on base while posting a 3-for-7 effort with an RBI opportunity. All told this season, the Lady Railsplitters are putting their lead-off batter on nearly 40 percent of the time, but are hitting .207 with a runner in scoring position.

Ashlea Hunter (Woodruff, S.C.) have both hit safely in three straight games.
Jennifer Moose (Statesville, N.C.) and
Savannah Couch (Colonial Heights, Va.) are responsible for the longest hitting streaks for LMU this season, as that pair has recorded six-game streaks.

Notes on the Tornado:-King enters Wednesday's doubleheader with a 6-10 record, but the Tornado are riding a four-game winning streak after sweeping a doubleheader at Johnson C. Smith on Saturday and taking two from Converse on Sunday. King opened the season by losing seven straight games.
-The Tornado lead the Conference Carolinas in slugging percentage (.454) and rank third in batting average (.281), as King has racked up 33 doubles and 14 home runs through 16 games this season. Junior outfielder Hannah Devotie has produced a team-leading 19 hits with a .352 batting average and eight stolen bases, while senior Hannah Smith has eight doubles, one home run, 15 RBI and a .380 batting average. Olivia Lawson and Alliyah Sands has seven doubles apiece, while Jennifer Kern leads the Tornado with five home runs.
-King is ranked in the bottom third of the Conference Carolinas in the major pitching categories, sitting in eighth in earned run average (4.13) and ninth in batting average against (.310). Hayley Smothers leads the Tornado with 46 2/3 innings pitched, a span during which she has compiled a 3-5 record with 18 strikeouts and a 3.60 ERA. Morgan Lowe has thrown 38 2/3 innings, racking up a 1-2 record with 16 strikeouts and a 4.34 ERA.
-The Tornado have 10-plus hits in three of their last four games. King registered a season-high 14 hits in game one at Johnson C. Smith before putting up 11 in game two. In an 11-2 win over Converse, the Tornado racked up 11 hits with a season-high three home runs.
-King is 2-5 on the road this season, but was 0-5 before sweeping that doubleheader at Johnson C. Smith last weekend.

-Lincoln Memorial swept a doubleheader from King in Bristol last season, winning game one 7-4 before completing the sweep with a 5-2 triumph in game two. In 2014, the Lady Railsplitters defeated the Tornado 3-2 and 8-0 at Dorothy Neely Field to improve to 9-3 all-time at home in the series.
