DAHLONEGA, GA - Lincoln Memorial earns a spot in the NCAA Southeast Regional Tournament for the second consecutive year as the #8 seed as they face #1 seed North Georgia Thursday afternoon at 2 pm. Lincoln Memorial secured an automatic bid to the tournament after defeating Anderson in the SAC Championship Series to secure the 2026 SAC Tournament Champion Title.
The double elimination bracket begins Thursday, May 14th and continued through Saturday, May 16th.
LMU enters the NCAA postseason with a strong offensive force, hitting .306 as a team with 401 hits and 225 RBI. The lineup led by Reese Vivrette, who is batting .294 on the season. Kristin Griffin has continued to be a key run producer, hitting .348 with six home runs and 38 RBI, while Jordann Reagan is batting .328 with 30 RBI. Hannah McMeen has added power at the plate with a .329 average, seven home runs, and 33 RBI, and Alyssa Maples has contributed six home runs this season.
North Georgia, who enters the tournament as they #1 seed and ranked #5 nationally, brings an explosive attack of its own, batting .342 with 55 home runs on the year. The Nighthawks are led in the circle by Chloe Poss, who owns 23 wins with a 1.91 ERA.
With the bracket now set, LMU will look to carry its momentum into the NCAA Tournament with a chance to advance to the second round.
