HARROGATE, Tenn. -- The Lady Railsplitters (16-19, 4-4 SAC) hosts the red-hot and league-leading Catawba Indians (24-9, 8-0 SAC) for a South Atlantic Conference doubleheader on Saturday at Dorothy Neely Field beginning at 1 p.m. Here's everything you need to know:

Quick Hits:
-The Lady Railsplitters drew back even in South Atlantic Conference play by sweeping a doubleheader from the Tusculum Pioneers for the first time since 2010 on Tuesday at Dorothy Neely Field. Lincoln Memorial tallied six extra-base hits with a pair of home runs and scored four runs in the third inning and five more in the sixth to capture a 10-2 six-inning win in game one. The Lady Railsplitters then withstood a Pioneer attack that racked up 15 hits but stranded 16 runners on base to complete the sweep with a 5-4 win in game two. The two wins turned the page on a sluggish stretch for the Lady Railsplitters, who had lost four of their last five games entering that twinbill.
-Jennifer Moose (Statesville, N.C.) had a big day at the plate for Lincoln Memorial in that sweep over Tusculum, going 4 for 6 in the series with a home run and three runs scored. The junior utility player lifted her average to .337 with that showing and drove her season home-run total to six, which ranks fourth in the SAC. Moose has accumulated a ridiculous .792 slugging percentage in SAC play, which is the third-best mark in the league.
-With 14 games remaining in the regular-season schedule, sophomore Savannah Couch (Colonial Heights, Va.) has already broken the program's single-season record for hit-by-pitches with 16. Judy Hornsby was the last Lady Railsplitter to get plunked at least 15 times in a season when she was hit 15 times in 2004. Due in large part to that, Couch is ranked sixth in the South Atlantic Conference in on-base percentage with a .472 clip. Couch is already ranked third on LMU's career record book with 19 hit-by-pitches.
-The Lady Railsplitters continued to drive the ball out of the park in Tuesday's sweep over Tusculum, hitting two home runs to increase their season total to 22, which ranks fourth in the SAC. Lincoln Memorial has hit nine home runs in league play. With eight more home runs, this year's team would be just the seventh in program history to rack up at least 30 dingers in a season.
-After a sluggish offensive showing in February, when the Lady Railsplitters hit .256 as a team, Lincoln Memorial seems to have turned a corner with a much better performance in March. The Lady Railsplitters hit .280 in March with a .447 slugging percentage, recording at least seven hits in a game eight times.

Notes on the Indians:
-Catawba extended its winning streak to nine games and remained perfect in South Atlantic Conference play on Wednesday by sweeping a doubleheader at Coker, taking game one 2-0 before completing the sweep with a 2-1 triumph in game two. In SAC play alone, Catawba has swept Brevard, Newberry and Carson-Newman along with Coker to hold a share of first place in the league standings with Lenoir-Rhyne.
-Led by one of the most accomplished pitchers in SAC history in Carley Tysinger, Catawba's pitching staff has been nearly unhittable in conference play, leading the league with a 0.86 earned run average and a .140 batting average against in SAC games. Tysinger - a senior, right-handed flamethrower - leads the SAC in wins (17), complete games (18), strikeouts (220) and strikeouts per game (10.62) while ranking second in ERA (0.92) and batting average against (.155). She has struck out double-digit batters 14 times this season with a streak of four straight games with 10-plus strikeouts. Tysinger is a four-time AstroTurf SAC Pitcher of the Week.
-Catawba has been a middle-of-the-pack offensive team this season, ranking sixth in the SAC in batting average (.279), seventh in on-base percentage (.342) and sixth in slugging percentage (.404). Those numbers are substantially inflated in SAC play, though, where the Indians are sporting a .327/.387/.498 slash line, ranking either first or second in each of those respective categories.
-Junior Kristen Stinnard fuels the Catawba attack, as she carries a .377 batting average into the weekend with three doubles and three triples. Senior Gina Gerone is sporting a .313 batting average with six doubles, two home runs and 17 RBI, while junior Caroline Turner has accounted for six two-baggers, a homer and nine runs batted in. Sophomore Delane Smith leads the team in RBI with 18, while Morgan Brann has a team-leading six home runs.
-The Indians are 9-2 on the road this season, but they have been a substantially worse offensive team in those contests. In 11 true road games, Catawba is hitting .260 with a .332 on-base percentage as opposed to a .317 batting average and a .365 on-base percentage in 14 home games.

Series History:
-The LMU-Catawba series has been tightly contested since the two teams first met back in 2003, with Catawba holding a narrow 11-10 edge. The Lady Railsplitters swept a doubleheader from the Indians last season in Salisbury, winning game one 4-1 before escaping with a 1-0 win in game two. However, Catawba got the last laugh by handing the Lady Railsplitters a 3-1 loss in the 2015 SAC Championship.
-Catawba defeated Lincoln Memorial in the 2016 season opener back on February 6, scoring six runs in the bottom of the third and three more in the bottom of the fourth to power a 9-4 win at the Pirate Classic in Savannah, Ga. Tysinger and company combined for 13 strikeouts and limited Lincoln Memorial to just one earned run and six hits.
