Railsplitters travel to Dahlonega for nonconference clash with Nighthawks

DAHLONEGA, Ga. – Lincoln Memorial (6-2-2) will look to keep its offensive momentum going following Saturday's 6-0 win over Newberry in its nonconference bout with the North Georgia Nighthawks (5-5) on Wednesday in Dahlonega, Ga. North Georgia and No. 19 Lander played to a scoreless tie through 90 minutes Saturday, but the Bearcats scored in overtime to come away with a 1-0 victory.

Quick Hits 

- Lincoln Memorial's six goals Saturday matched its highest offensive output since 2012. The only other time the Railsplitters have scored six goals since 2012 was last year in a 6-1 win over Lees-McRae.

- Danilo da Silva scored the Railsplitters' first three goals of the match for his first career hat trick and added an assist. He has recorded at least one point in every match the Railsplitters have scored and seven of ten overall, including four multi-point efforts.
