HARROGATE, Tenn. – The Lady Railsplitters (13-12, 8-9 SAC) will try to snap the nation's fourth-longest winning streak on Saturday when they face the South Atlantic Conference-leading Anderson Trojans (22-3, 15-1 SAC) at 2 p.m. inside of the Abney Center.

- Lincoln Memorial turned in yet another dominant defensive performance to cruise past the Tusculum Pioneers in straight sets on Tuesday night at Mary Mars Gym. The Lady Railsplitters compiled 14 total blocks to hold the visitors to a dismal .039 attack percentage. On the other side, LMU made just 11 errors while hitting .202.
- The Lady Railsplitters lead the SAC and rank 12th nationally in total blocks with 227.
Tone Gill leads the conference individually and ranks 21st in the nation in blocks per set with 1.25, while
Danielle Ged is third in the league in that department with 1.10. As a team, LMU is holding opponents to .144 hitting this season.

Erica Whiteaker is also playing a massive role in the Lady Railsplitters' lockdown defense, ranking fifth in the country in digs per set with 6.76 and fourth in total digs with 622.
- With three matches remaining in the regular season, the Lady Railsplitters are in sixth place in the SAC standings. Lincoln Memorial can finish as high as fourth place in the league, as Carson-Newman and Tusculum are tied in fourth with a narrow one-game lead over the Lady Railsplitters.

Kiera Holland leads the SAC in total kills with 311 and ranks fourth in kills per set with 3.38. The Columbia, S.C. native needs 82 more kills to break into the top 10 in the program's single-season record book.
- Lincoln Memorial is 3-8 in true road matches this season compared to an 8-4 mark at home. The Lady Railsplitters average 12.3 kills per set on a .215 attack percentage at home but those numbers drop to 11.76 and .141 on the road.
Know the Opponent
- Anderson is in position to end Wingate's 11-year reign atop the South Atlantic Conference, as the Trojans have a one-game lead over the Bulldogs in the league standings with four matches remaining in the regular season. The Trojans haven't lost since suffering a 3-0 setback at Wingate – the 11-time defending SAC champions – on September 15, reeling off 17 consecutive wins.
- The Trojans have been unbelievably dominant during their 17-game winning streak, losing just four combined sets over that entire run. Anderson has won 13 of those 17 matches in straight sets.
- Anderson ranks second in the SAC in kills per set with 14.10, hitting percentage with a .248 clip, assists per set with 13.58 and aces per set with 1.66. In addition to that, the Trojans lead the SAC and rank 11th nationally in opponent attack percentage with a .108 mark.
- Senior outside hitter Marissa Mitter is a SAC Player of the Year candidate that is averaging 3.78 kills per set on a .234 attack percentage to go along with 3.17 digs per frame. She is one of five Trojans averaging over two kills per set along with Rachel Burts (2.49), Kathryn Hughes (2.48), Jayln Knight (2.31) and Serena Jackson (2.05).
- Junior setter Emily Conlin leads the SAC and ranks fifth nationally in assists per set with 11.98. Her 958 total helpers are the third-most in the SAC.
- The Trojans are a perfect 9-0 at home this season, which includes a 3-1 win over Wingate on October 20. Anderson is putting down a ridiculous 14.86 kills per set on a .306 attack percentage at the Abney Center.
- Emily Conard leads the team in digs with 4.36 per set. She is also one of the team's more dangerous servers with 28 aces. Conlin is the only Trojan with more aces with 34.
- Carson-Newman will get the first crack at taking down the Trojans when they face Anderson on Friday night.
Head-to-Head
The Lady Railsplitters own a commanding 15-6 advantage in the all-time series against Anderson and have won four of the last five meetings. However, the Trojans blasted Lincoln Memorial 25-15, 25-16, 25-15 in the teams' first meeting this season on September 30 at Mary Mars Gym. Mitter paced Anderson with 11 kills, while Burts added nine. Holland, Gill and
Rylee Storms led LMU with five kills apiece.
Lincoln Memorial is 5-3 on the road in the series and has won during back-to-back trips to Anderson.
