2:05 am: Here is the final recap from the Railsplitters' loss to Northwest Missouri State in the national semifinals - Read

12:54 am: Here is the post-game press conference with head coach Josh Schertz, Luquon Choice and Chris Perry - Watch

11:26 pm: That's a final. The Railsplitters' season comes to an end with a 79-67 loss to Northwest Missouri State. Lincoln Memorial ends another dream season with a 30-6 overall record.

11:23 pm: Lincoln Memorial hasn't waved the white flag and trail 76-67 with 29.5 seconds left.

11:15 pm: The Railsplitters will need a miracle as the Bearcats lead 70-60 with 1:36 left.

11:09 pm: A 7-0 run has given the Bearcats their largest lead of the second half at 64-55 with 4:16 left. Lincoln Memorial has rallied multiple times this season. Can they do it again tonight?

10:59 pm: Deshawn Patterson hits a free throw to snap a more than four-minute long scoring drought for the Railsplitters. The Bearcats lead 55-50 with nine minutes left.

10:53 pm: The Bearcats have made five straight baskets and forced Lincoln Memorial to burn a timeout. Northwest holds a 53-49 lead with 12:27 left. After not even attempting a shot in the first half, Zach Schneider has hit three second-half threes to power the Bearcats.

10:46 pm: The Railsplitters raced out to a six-point lead early in the second half, but Northwest Missouri State responded. We have had nine lead changes already. LMU has a 45-43 edge with 14:41 left in regulation. Choice's third three-pointer is the difference at the under-16 media timeout.

10:34 pm: Lincoln Memorial finished 13-for-21 from the field in the first half. That 61.9 percent mark ties the highest first-half field goal percentage allowed by Northwest Missouri State this season. The second half is getting ready to start.

10:20 pm: Against all odds, the Railsplitters go into the break with a 32-31 lead. Lincoln Memorial trailed by as many as 10 points early, started 1-of-6 from the field and battled foul trouble with Woodson, Perry and Terry each picking up two fouls apiece. The Railsplitters had eight turnovers compared to one for the Bearcats and allowed seven offensive rebounds. The next 20 minutes will decide who will face Fairmont State in the NCAA Division II National Championship game.

10:10 pm: Choice's earlier three-pointer was reviewed and changed to a two. 27-27 after Shaw's three-pointer with 3:26 left in the half.

10:06 pm: The Railsplitters have tied the game at 25-25! Luquon Choice is on fire with 13 points on 5-for-7 shooting with three three-pointers.

9:59 pm: The Railsplitters have all of the sudden made five consecutive shots. The Bearcats lead 21-18 with 7:40 left in the first half. Turnovers (6) and offensive rebounds allowed (4) are preventing LMU from getting over the hump.

9:51 pm: Paul Woodson - the primary defender on Justin Pitts - has drawn his second foul with 12:15 left in the first half. Nothing is going right for the Railsplitters so far. Trail 14-4.

9:42 pm: Chris Perry has drawn his second foul of the game and will head to the bench with well over 16 minutes to play in the half.

9:37 pm: It's game time at Sanford Pentagon! The teams are heading to center court to get the national semifinal started!

9:19 pm: The starters for tonight's contest have been posted. For LMU, it's Taylor, Perry, Choice, Woodson and Shaw. Woodson gets the nod after Emanuel Terry started last night's contest. For Northwest Missouri State, it's Pitts, Woods, Ndow, Dougherty and Schneider. Pitts is the NABC National Player of the Year. It's just about go time.

9:02 pm: Fairmont State wins the first semifinal game over Bellarmine, 79-68. Lincoln Memorial and Northwest Missouri State have taken the floor for warmups. We are approximately 30 minutes from tip-off.

8:30 pm: We are one hour from tip-off at Sanford Pentagon. There is 11:30 left in the Bellarmine/Fairmont State game. Tune into CBS Sports Network to watch the games!

7:21 pm: The Railsplitters will need to get their offense going to beat the stingy Bearcats, who have the second-best scoring defense in the country. Lincoln Memorial entered the Elite Eight averaging 92.3 points per game, but have been held below 80 points in three of its last five games.

6:21 pm: The Railsplitters are looking to become the third team in the history of the LMU athletics department to advance to the NCAA Division II National Championship game. They would follow in the footsteps of the 2015-16 men's basketball team and the 2007 men's soccer team.
