TIGERVILLE, S.C. -- The Lincoln Memorial University men's volleyball team (7-12) was handed a four-set loss by the North Greenville Crusaders (7-11) on Saturday afternoon. The Railsplitters suffered their second straight loss by scores of 25-21, 25-18, 18-25 and 25-17.

The Railsplitters hit .198 in the match, but North Greenville finished with a 42-40 edge in total kills and took advantage of 15 LMU service errors. Lincoln Memorial also had 21 attack miscues and six reception errors.

Evan Cory (Metairie, La.) led the Railsplitters and tied a match-high mark with 12 kills to go along with a team-high nine digs and four assists.
Joshua Riblett (Torrence, Calif.),
Pedro Carvalho (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and
Nico Triana (Miami, Fla.) had seven kills apiece, with Carvalho leading that trio with a .357 attack percentage.
Marcus Molina (Newport Beach, Calif.) chipped in six kills.
Ryan Iskandar (Tempe, Ariz.) tallied 30 assists and eight digs, while
Jorge Collazo (San Juan, Puerto Rico) also produced eight digs.

Matthew McManaway powered the Crusader attack with 12 kills on a .308 clip. Ben Hamsho tallied 10 kills on just 16 attempts for a .500 mark, while Grayson Lawrence put up seven kills and Aaron Campbell had six. Alexander Schinzing led all players with 31 assists. Dustin King led North Greenville and tied Cory for the match-high mark with nine digs.

The Railsplitters are back in action on Tuesday when they host Bryan at Mary Mars Gymnasium.Â
