Quick Hits

- Lincoln Memorial and Tusculum held each other scoreless through 110 minutes Wednesday to settle for a draw in a rematch of last year's SAC tournament championship. The Railsplitters outshot the Pioneers 12-10 for the game and held a 5-4 edge in shots on goal. Tusculum attempted seven corners to the Lincoln Memorial's five, though none produced any scoring chances.

- Danilo da Silva and Felipe de Sousa were held scoreless for the first time this season. They are the first Railsplitters to score in three consecutive games to open a season since Leonardo da Silva did so to open the 2014 season.

- Caleb Cothrin made his third start in goal Wednesday and earned his second clean sheet. The junior goalkeeper has allowed just one goal in nearly 300 minutes of game action (0.30 GAA) and has made exactly four saves in each start.

- Lincoln Memorial was held without a goal Wednesday for the first time in 14 matches. The team scored eight goals in its first three games of the 2017 season. That was its highest total through three games since also finding the back of the net eight times in 2011 and 2012.

- Da Silva and de Sousa have accounted for six of Lincoln Memorial's eight goals with three apiece. Seven different Railsplitters have assisted on a goal, though no player has more than one.

- The Railsplitters have outshot their opponents in all four matches and 59-40 overall. Of those 59 shots, 35 have landed on goal. Though only five of Lincoln Memorial's 12 shots Wednesday were on target, the team's current .593 shots on goal percentage would break the program record of .520 set back in 2000.

- The four players to have scored a goal for Lincoln Memorial—da Silva, de Sousa, Victor Peres and Diego Velazquez—have attempted 35 of the team's 59 shots. Of those, 26 have landed on goal for a .743 shots on goal percentage.

- Lincoln Memorial is undefeated through four games for the third time in the past four seasons. The 2015 squad opened with five straight wins while the 2014 team started 4-0.

- The Railsplitters have won six straight SAC home openers and are 9-1 since 2007.

Know the Opponent

- Queens was blasted 4-1 by defending national champions Wingate in the team's SAC opener on Wednesday night

- Saturday's match will be just the second road game for the Royals. Their first was Wednesday at Wingate after opening the season with four nonconference home matches.

- Queens' four goals allowed Wednesday was its highest total in nearly two years since a 5-0 defeat at Wingate in 2015.

- The Royals have outshot opponents 70-48 through five games but have only outshot opponents three times. Wingate outshot Queens Wednesday, and the Royals were even with Limestone in shots at nine apiece earlier in the year.

- Like Lincoln Memorial, Queens has totaled eight goals on the year—albeit in one more game played. Edmundo Robinson and Alberto Morales have two apiece, while four other players have found the back of the net once.

- Both of Morales' goals have been game-winners. He is also tied for third in the conference with 15 shots.

- Ben Wallace has started all five games in goal for the Royals and has played a SAC-high 470 minutes. His save percentage is only .600, which is 11th in the conference.

Head-to-Head

- Lincoln Memorial lost last year's matchup 2-1 in overtime in Charlotte. Robinson headed in a corner kick in the 92nd minute to clinch the win.

- The Railsplitters are 3-5 overall against Queens and 1-2 in Harrogate. That lone home win came in the teams' most recent meeting in Harrogate in 2015. Peres knocked in the winning goal in the 92nd minute to clinch a 2-1 win.
