HARROGATE, Tenn. – The Lincoln Memorial women's soccer team hopes to rebound from a heartbreaking mid-week loss on Saturday when the Lady Railsplitters host Coker for the regular-season home finale at the LMU Soccer Complex.
Despite controlling possession and the flow of play from start to finish, the Lady Railsplitters (8-4, 4-3 SAC) suffered a devastating 1-0 overtime loss against Tusculum on Wednesday, which snapped a three-game winning streak and dropped LMU into sixth place in the SAC standings.
Coker (0-9, 0-6 SAC), meanwhile, is still seeking its first win this season, as the Cobras fell 1-0 at Newberry on Wednesday. Coker is the only winless team left in the SAC.
