Know the Opponent
- Like LMU, King is coming off a loss, with the Tornado's coming at Emmanuel College in a 1-0 decision over the weekend.
- After winning its opener, 2-0, against visiting Concord, King has saw a 0-1-2 record conspire over the past three games, including a 3-0 loss to LMU's South Atlantic Conference foe Tusculum College.
- Carlos Saaverda, Ben Dellsle and Leo Braga have combined for a goal apiece so far for the Torando, while Daniel Dube and Jalen Willis each have an assist.
- Goalkeeper Dalton Gammon has allowed five goals since winning the season opener with a clean sheet.
Head-to-Head
- King held the bragging rights from the two squad's first matchup in 1988 to the third in 2003, holding a 3-0 record versus the Railsplitters in that span.
- LMU won its first versus the Tornado in 2004, a 5-1 home win, and since then the Railsplitters have owned the in-state showdown, 4-1-1.
- Last season's 3-0 LMU victory was the first meeting since 2012, which was a Railsplitters' five-goal win, and the match that gave LMU the series, 5-4-1, lead.
