HARROGATE, Tenn. – A trio of schedule changes to Lincoln Memorial University men's basketball's home schedule have been announced. The sixth-ranked Railsplitters will now play the following two Monday nights inside B. Frank "Tex" Turner Arena, hosting UVA Wise this Monday, Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. and welcoming Mars Hill to Harrogate Monday, Jan. 25 at 8 p.m. Furthermore, LMU's home tilt with Catawba slated for Saturday, Jan. 23 has been postponed due to COVID-19 circumstances within the Indians' program.
 
The Railsplitters and Cavaliers had been scheduled to play Monday, Jan. 25 after the original matchup date of Dec. 5 had to be postponed due to positive COVID-19 test results within the LMU program. After COVID-19 circumstances within the Lions' program, the Railsplitters' originally scheduled home game with Mars Hill this Saturday, Jan. 16 had to be postponed. LMU and UVA Wise were able to change their game from Monday, Jan. 25 to Monday, Jan. 18 with the Lions' availability to make the trip to Harrogate Monday, Jan. 18.
 
The Lady Railsplitter women's basketball program is still set to host UVA Wise Monday, Jan. 25 at 5:30 p.m. Both teams will be making the trip to Wise, Virginia, next Wednesday, Jan. 20 for a doubleheader versus the Cavaliers.

The Railsplitters are off to a 7-1 start and are 5-1 in SAC play having won 39 of their last 40 games. LMU returns to game action Wednesday night in Gaffney, South Carolina, where it faces Limestone in an 8 p.m. tip from inside the Timken Center.

Due to the ongoing public health crisis of the COVID-19 global pandemic, LMU Athletics has a revised attendance policy for home basketball games during the 2020-21 season. Tex Turner Arena will have a limited capacity of 10% in an effort of promoting and prioritizing the health and safety of student-athletes and game day personnel. The following groups of individuals are the only permitted attendees for home LMU athletic events held inside Tex Turner Arena: student-athlete pass list designees, L Club members, 50 students, dignitaries and game day personnel. In line with LMU's COVID-19 policies and protocols, specific guidelines have been outlined to keep the health and safety of the LMU community the athletic department's top priority.
