Railsplitters Rank Second in Final Bushnell Poll Ahead of NCAA Regionals

No. 2 LMU golf enters the NCAA South/Southeast Regional with the No. 1 seed beginning May 6

NORMAN, Okla. – The final Bushnell Golfweek Coaches' Poll of the spring championship season has been released by the Golf Coaches of America Association and the Lincoln Memorial University men's golf team moved up to No. 2 in America, after securing the No. 1 overall seed in the upcoming NCAA Southeast Regional just last week.

The Railsplitters also remain ranked No. 2 in GolfStat's most recent poll, as senior South Atlantic Conference Golfer of the Year, Dan Bradbury, continues to top the individual rankings as the No. 1 golfer in NCAA DII.

LMU enters the deepest, most talented field of this year's NCAA Tournament in the South and Southeast Regional against No. 1 West Florida, in addition to No. 3 Lynn, No. 5 USC-Aiken, No. 7 Barry, No. 8 Lee, No. 9 Young Harris and No. 10 Georgia Southwestern State.

The 2021 NCAA South/Southeast Regional Championships will be held in Florida May 6-8 at the Streamsong Golf Course and Resort. Victors of this year's SAC Championship and the Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate, in addition to four runner-up finishes, the No. 2 ranked Railsplitters have finished in at least the top-six of every tournament field in all eight events contested this season.

The Railsplitters concluded conference play in dramatic fashion, winning the first South Atlantic Conference Championship since 2016 in record-breaking style. The total 847 team score through three rounds shattered the previous SAC record, as champion Dan Bradbury (196) and runner-up Luke Harries (206) both broke the SAC individual record of 208.
